it's sophomore year again.

It's that time of life again... the one where scandals happen and stuff. Well, I haven't updated this for a while, so I'm going to try and summarize what's been going on breifly in my life.

I played a lot of poker during the summer.
I went on a cross-continent road trip.
I moved in to the dorms.
I stood in a hurricane.

Ah, now that that's done, I'm going to go.

...

Alright, here's what I have to say about the road trip: it was completely amazing. I'd recommend anyone to do it. Not many things beat the feeling of knowing that one day you're driving to Boston and on the next day you're on a ferry to Nova Scotia. Here are the top eleven. things of the road trip:

11. Detroit. I loved going back there.
10. Boston. I love going back there too.
9. Evansville. Playing $1/$2 blinds with Andy.
8. Montreal, Mount Royal, and slot machines. Brandon won about three times more times than lost on slot machines.
7. Sailing from Portland to Nova Scotia. Boats rock.
6. Miami Beach. The water was as warm as my piss.
5. New Orleans and Cajun food. Crayfish good.
4. Camping in Iowa. Cooking things over a campfire is sweet.
3. Chi-town. The food is amazing in Chicago.
2. Scaring ourselves. From lighthouses to Four Corners... I don't think anything compares.

and for the number one event of the road trip...

...

....you guys very well know I don't finish countdowns.

So moving back to Yavapai has been pretty nice. My floor is full of jokers, so that's good, because we've done so much juvenile stuff that our RA held a specific meeting just so we won't tag every hall and create obnoxious noises all the time. The year looks fairly promising. We'll see what happens.

This past weekend, I went to Orlando and Hurricane Frances moved over us. Hurricanes are awesome to watch. I got to see destruction around me while I stood looking out a window all safe and stuff. The hotel we stayed at was pretty nuts. It seriously was an eco-system full of alligators and fish and random stuff like that. All in all, the weekend was awesome. Except for being stranded for a day.

I saw Incubus live last night. Other than the fact that they only played two songs from Make Yourself, it was awesome. It's cookie hour right now, so I'm going to go. I'll try and update this more often.

I have Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue stuck in my head. I don't really like this song a whole lot but I can't get it out of my head.
